Windows 8 is focused more on improving its users experience on mobile devices as it introduces new touch
controlled “Metro” interface with a new tile-based design or UI ( User interface ). This new interface
has tiles that represent applications and a new star screen that replaces the traditional start menu that
was prominent in previous windows versions. Windows 8 also includes new enhanced security
features and it has been received well apart from the certain criticism regarding its compatibility
when used with a keyboard and mouse as opposed to just as a touchscreen.
