Niel Armstrongs biggest fear about the Apollo missions was a solar occurring during the mission and although none of the missions was affected by such an event they were lucky through timing rather than anything else. This video looks at what might have happened if they might not have been so lucky and how we are trying to mitigate such effects happening on the up-coming Artemis lunar program in 2024.
