Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, announced earlier this May that the company would begin construction on a lithium refinery in Texas that would become the biggest producer of the material in North America by 2025, producing enough battery metal to assemble around 1 million electric cars (EVs). However, he said the company will continue to produce the Tesla Semi in small quantities through the end of 2024. Musk explained on Tuesday that there is still a bottleneck in the battery supply, which is the reason for the delay. But, how is Tesla going to resolve this? Good news because recently Musk just revealed a new battery technology that will shock us in 2024!
