Shanghai is hosting the Fourth World 3D Printing Technology Industry Conference and Expo, which attracted more than 100 companies from countries around the world. With 3D printing being employed for increasingly diverse purposes, a hospital in China has made impressive progress in the transplant of a 3D-printied heart in a pig. It is estimated that China’s 3D printing market will reach about 1.6 billion US dollars in 2016.
