Apparently, Amazon’s own AI coding assistant, Kiro, was to blame for an AWS outage. The AI decided the human code needed rewriting and… did it. Taking down a bunch of sites in the process. Of course, Amazon is downplaying this because AI is magic. Like Microsoft, they’re apparently relying on “vibe coding” and the results speak for themselves.
